Vincenzo Scarrica completed his undergraduate and master’s studies in Computer Science at the University of Parthenope, working at the CVPRLab. He then pursued a Ph.D. at the University of Naples Federico II, focusing on Artificial Intelligence for environmental and coastal applications. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the University of Parthenope, where he is involved in projects related to coastal and underwater monitoring, with a particular emphasis on computer vision tasks.
He maintains active collaborations with the University of Bari, University of Rome La Sapienza, University of Naples L’Orientale, University of Cádiz, MIA Lab at University of La Rochelle, University of Naples Federico II, University of Tucson, Anton Dohrn Zoological Station and others. He has participated in numerous events and conferences, including ICIP, VOTS Challenge, MOT Challenge, WACV, MetroSea, EcoSummit, EAIS, and many others.
