Antonino Staiano is an Associate Professor at the Department of Science and Technology of the University of Naples Parthenope. He is the scientific director of the interdisciplinary laboratory Neptun-IA. His research is focused on developing Machine Learning techniques for various fields such as the Environment with particular attention to the themes of the Sea, Bioinformatics, and Astrophysics. He is a board member of the Italian National PhD program in Artificial Intelligence for Agrifood and Environment, and the Director of the Parthenope Research Unit of the National Interuniversity Consortium in Computer Science (CINI).
